Peanut Ice Kachang $1.50

K: Probably one of the better ice kachang I've eaten in a long time. Reached the stall close to 8pm and the store was already closing. We were lucky as the storeowner was willing to make a bowl! (The other 2 that came after us weren't so lucky). He warned us that he ran out of some ingredients but was nice enough to top up for us the next visit.

The combination of the crushed peanuts and the mashed red bean was heavenly. (I like soft and mushy red bean!). Not overly sweet and had a classic childhood taste to it unlike the fancy ice kachang we have now. I will definitely visit this stall again for my cheap ice kachang fix. Perhaps next time I would be lucky enough to do a side by side comparison with Annie's Ice Kachang (located directly behind this store).
